When you create an account, we ask for a username and email. That's it—no phone number, real name, or address required. We also track gameplay stats: fish caught, locations visited, leaderboard position. We collect your device type and IP address to prevent fraud and improve server performance.

How We Use Your Data

Your stats power the leaderboards and matchmaking. Your location data helps us balance server load geographically. Email lets us send updates and tournament announcements—you can disable this anytime. We never use your data to build advertising profiles or sell to marketers.

Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies—just enough to keep you logged in and remember your settings. We don't track you across other websites. Analytics tools help us understand which lakes crash the server or what features confuse players. That's it.

Who Sees Your Data

Nobody outside wedeterna gets your personal info. Your leaderboard stats are public by design—that's half the fun. We use trusted cloud providers to store data but never sell or share user information with third parties.

Keeping Your Data Safe

We encrypt your password and all data in transit. Servers sit behind firewalls. We do security audits quarterly. That said, no system is perfect—if a breach happens, we'll tell you immediately.

Your Rights

You can request your data, correct it, or delete your account anytime. Email info@wedeterna.in and we'll process it within 7 days. Deletion is permanent—leaderboard stats remain but unlinked from you.

Policy Updates

We'll update this if laws change or we add new features. Big changes get announced in-game and via email. You staying with us means you accept the new policy.
